PTA Restructuring Committee

This fall, a group of volunteer Drew families, staff members, and administration are coming together to review the work the PTA has historically done, examine expectations of how the PTA could be working (in comparison to other PTA models and state/national standards), and to define how we want to be working in the future. Given shifts in the school's leadership, size, and creation of other new committees elsewhere in the school, the PTA's role has an opportunity to grow and shift. 


Watch this space: by January of 2022 we will have new committees, some suggested initiatives, and a few focus areas for the coming year that will include some of the things the PTA has always done (Eagle Giving Tree, Reflections, Fall Fest) and some new initiatives that have yet to be determined that community members are excited to introduce to Drew. 


We hope the new directions will encourage you to get involved in supporting the family-school partnership the PTA provides.
