The Drew PTA in partnership with Drew Charter School Administration is pleased to offer our Eagle Babysitter Course for Drew Students! This course is geared towards 11-15 year olds and will take place over two days, March 9th and 10th, 2024 at the Yates Campus cafeteria.

About the course:

Red Cross instructors will lead students in 12 hours of live class instruction which will cover basic babysitting skills, infant CPR, and personal safety.  Click here to learn more!

 

What to expect:

• Students will receive a certificate of completion on Sunday indicating two-year certification and access to refresher materials online.  

• Lunch and snacks will be provided

• Drew PTA members and Parent Volunteers will be on-site to provide support and supervision.

 

What to bring:

• A great attitude! 

• A refillable bottle for drinks

 

About the cost:

Registration is $60* per student (We have a cap of 25 students with 5 spots reserved for students awarded scholarships).

*The PTA is proud to partially cover the cost of the course (normally $175) and bring it closer to our students by hosting it on campus. However, if cost and/or transportation is an obstacle, please contact Natalie Lee or Lee Ann Bonomo @ptadrewfamilyresources@gmail.com.  Scholarships are available and we can help connect you with other families for ride-sharing.
